This page documents the SMS opt-in process for Junkyard Notify, providing transparency for users and compliance reviewers.
Junkyard Notify LLC is the sole sender of every message in this program and its sole beneficiary. We send no messages for or on behalf of any other company. We conduct no affiliate marketing and no lead generation. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or compensated by LKQ, Pick-N-Pull, Pull-A-Part, Pick-A-Part, Row52, or any other salvage yard. Yard and location names, where they appear, are factual descriptions of publicly listed inventory that we independently index. We never share or sell subscriber mobile numbers or SMS consent to third parties or affiliates for any purpose.
Junkyard Notify collects marketing consent separately from any other consent. Confirming your mobile number is a one-time transactional step; opting in to recurring inventory alerts is a distinct, affirmative action that is never bundled with it, never pre-checked, and never required in order to verify a number or use the service. Users can only enable SMS alerts within their secure dashboard:
Logged-in users go to junkyardnotify.com/settings and scroll to "Priority SMS Alerts".
User enters their 10-digit US phone number.
A standalone checkbox, unchecked by default, sits directly above the submit button. The number is confirmed with a one-time code either way; alerts are only ever sent if that box is actively checked.
The opt-in control below is reproduced exactly as it appears at junkyardnotify.com/settings under "Priority SMS Alerts". The consent text is character-for-character identical to the live screen, and the checkbox is unchecked by default, as shown:
