Every vehicle you photograph at a yard adds 6 days of full Pro access — no card required. Five vehicles works out to about a month. Your photos help the entire community find parts faster.
Free members can create 1 watchlist. Pro bumps it to 10 and Business to 50. When you hit the limit you can delete an existing alert to make room, or upgrade. Your existing alerts keep running — nothing gets deleted.
Take photos of vehicles when you visit a yard. Each approved vehicle adds 6 days of Pro, stacking onto whatever time you already have, up to 60 days banked. One approved photo is enough to credit a vehicle. Extra angles of the same vehicle still earn Scrap Points but don't add more days, and each vehicle credits you once. Photos must be clear, show the vehicle, and be taken at a monitored yard. Your banked days show in your profile header on the dashboard.
You earn Scrap Points for helping the community: 200 for each approved photo, 500 when a friend you invite signs up, 50 for adding a yard row and 10 for confirming one, and 20 when someone thanks you for a photo. Points for a photo are taken back if the photo is removed. Your rank follows your points: Scavenger, then Tinkerer at 500, Wrench at 1,500, Hunter at 5,000, and Junkyard King at 10,000. Ranks are a badge. Pro time comes from photographed vehicles, not points.
Smart Match uses our interchange database to find cross-compatible vehicles. If you need a starter for a 2014 Civic, Smart Match automatically alerts you when any compatible donor vehicle arrives — even if it's a different year or trim. It's like having an expert parts guy watching every yard for you.
